St. Patrick’s Day is Back!

While it’s been hard not being able to participate in the plethora of Hudson Valley events that is our norm over the last two years, 2022 is set to officially change that. With a number of events opening back up for in person attendance, you can finally get out and once again enjoy some of the most beloved St. Patrick’s Day happenings around the Hudson Valley. Here are a few to consider.

Albany, NY – The 2022 St. Patrick’s Day Parade – This year’s parade will be on March 12, 2022. The Parade starts at 2pm – on the AVENUE. The day will start with a beautiful Mass followed by a reception (music, Irish breads, coffee, tea). Beacon, NY – St. Patrick’s Day Parade of Green – after a 2 year hiatus, the parade is on for 2022 on March 12th at noon  Website: https://www.facebook.com/ParadeOfGreen


Greenwood Lake, NY – 45th Annual Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade – March 13th, 2 to 4 p.m. The parade will march along Windermere Avenue. This year’s Grand Marshal is Thomas Mulcahy. Website: facebook.com/events/589719655656151


Kingston, NY –  March 13, 1 p.m. The parade begins at Kingston Plaza. The 2022 Grand Marshal will be Harry Woltman. Check out ulsteraoh.com for more information.

Kingston, NY – Irish Cultural Center of the Hudson Valley presents the 34th ANNUAL Shamrock Run! – The run will precede the 2022 St. Patrick’s Parade in Kingston, NY on March 13th. Middletown, NY – The Celtic Angels – The Celtic Angels will perform at The Paramount Theatre in Middletown, NY on March 12, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. The music troupe celebrates the traditional music and dancing of Ireland. Tickets are $47 for row B-K, $42 for row L-S, row AA and BB, and $37 for row T-X and row CC-GG. There is a $2 fee per ticket.

Mamaroneck: March 20, 1:30 p.m. The 10th annual Sound Shore parade will march on Mamaroneck Avenue. Kate Bialo and Joe Durney will serve as co-Grand Marshals. Website:  soundshoreparade.com

Wappingers Falls – Dutchess County St. Patrick’s Day Parade – There will be an Annual Mass held on Saturday, March 5th 2022 at 9 a.m. @ St. Mary’s Church in Wappingers Falls. The Parade lines up at 12 noon with a step off at 1pm sharp and the route will begin its March on West Main Street/Route 9D beginning at North Street, McCafferty Place and Clinton Street, turning right onto South Avenue/Route 9D, left onto Elm Street, another left onto South Mesier Avenue and will end at Mesier Park. White Plains – White Plains St. Patrick’s Day Parade – March 12, noon. The parade will begin on Mamaroneck Avenue, continue Main Street, and march past Town Hall. The parade’s Grand Marshal will be James Houlihan. Website:  whiteplainssaintpatricksday.com
